Dancing With the Stars

The new season of Dancing With the Stars started Monday. Everyone thinks I'm crazy because this is my favorite program. I've always wanted to be able to dance but unfortunately I have 2 left feet. So I watch other people dance. I look forward to it every week so when the season is over I feel lost lol!! Not really but I do enjoy the program.

I forgot my birthday!

Well, I didn't forget it I just forgot to post a blog. A dear friend reminded me of this so I thought I would write a few words. It was an interesting birthday this year because my family didn't remember it. As they were arguing about where they wanted me to go and pick up dinner I thought it was time for me to fill them in. So I said "does anybody in this house realize that it's my birthday?" Then a silence came over the room and mouths were hanging open. They all felt really bad of course and made up for it over the next few days. So actually it turned out to be a really good birthday. But just for future reference my birthday is March 14 lol.

Sick and Tired

Well, let's see...I've been very sick for the past 4 days rarely getting out of bed. I went to the doctor on Monday and she gave me some medicine to clear up the infection in my throat. The miracle of modern medicine came through and I almost feel back to my old self again. My doctor also wants to have me do a sleep study because I keep falling asleep during the day. My husband came home the other day and I was on the couch with my laptop typing something. But I was asleep...so if anyone gets any strange messages from me you know why lol. The insurance won't cover the prescription without a sleep study being done. So we'll see. I may be taking a lot of naps during the day.

I want to make my son and his wife a scrapbook of their wedding. I was well enough today to get that started. It's pretty simple and not perfect but I think it looks pretty cute. This was my first attempt at scrap booking. I hope they like it. They're coming into town this weekend so I plan on giving it to them then.
