Saturday in Austin

Saturday we went to a Bridal Shower for my niece Tati. It was a lot of fun and she received some very nice gifts. After the shower Jackie, me, Lissa and Tati went to get pedicures and then had a wonderful dinner. My sisters treat...thank you again Jackie, love you! We don't get to visit that often so this was a very special day.

What's Up??

It's been a long while since I've blogged. All is well, life is good. A lot has happened since my last blog but I won't backtrack...just start from now.

I have recently found out that I have breast cancer. Very scary but I'm trying to keep a positive attitude. I'm blessed because this has been caught at a very early stage and I will make a full recovery. Doubly blessed because I have a great support group in my family and friends.

I plan to start keeping up with my blog again...in case anybody out there is actually reading it lol.

February...what happened??

I want to say not much happened in Feb but actually too much happened. I've had blogger block so I have been having a hard time putting things into words.

A lot of emotional turmoil in Feb which I think aged me another 10 years. And I have to go in for a biopsy because my mammogram looked questionable. I'm just not even going to think about that until the doctor calls with the appointment. I'm hoping the rest of this month goes by peacefully.

December was a good month!

December was a busy month but a lot of fun. We went on a 5 day cruise, we stopped in Cozumel and Progresso. It was our first cruise and we all had a great time. The kids came with us...Chris, Archer, Melissa and my daughter-in-law Kelly. Kelly and Melissa had a lot of fun hanging out together. They would get up at 7 am for aerobics! Crazy kids lol. There were so many things to do or you could just relax and do nothing. We're hooked now so we will probably go on another one this year. That's the game plan now anyway.

Christmas was very nice this year. Christmas Eve Chris and Kelly came and spent the evening with us. Christmas day Robby, me and the kids went to spend the day with my sister and her husband in Austin. It's always fun when we get to visit and Christmas is the only day we can count on seeing each other. We always get together for Christmas. Here's a picture of our happy family lol!
