The ghosts and legends tour

Last night me and the family went down to the Alamo to go on the ghosts and legends walking tour. I must say that the tour guide was a very good story teller. He had a lot of stories and made it very entertaining. It was fun walking around downtown. There were a lot of people doing all kinds of things. And our little group of 26 people were set to go on the tour. It was an hour and a half walk so I was pretty tired by the end. I did have a problem with some stairs, my knees don't like stairs lol. Thank goodness there were only 3 flights. And they had ramps going back up so I didn't have to go up any stairs. That was a relief. I must say though it was a very enjoyable night out with the family :)

Pedicure update lol

I did get a pedicure on Sunday but I got hot pink instead of blue. Next time I'm going for the blue :)

Time for a pedicure

Today the plan is to get a pedicure. It's been 3 weeks and my feet are telling me it's time. I've been thinking about getting a blue color this time but I'm not sure. I might chicken out and get a normal color. We'll have to wait and see on that one lol. My legs are shaved and I'm ready to go, just need to wait for Robby to get home with my car. He went to get a massage this morning. He should be home soon :)

My sister's back

My sister is back from vacation, hooray!! I got my morning text and all is well. It's amazing that something as small as a text can make you feel happy. She had a great time, I think they cruised around the world lol. Robby and I are going on a cruise October 30th and I'm looking forward to that. It will be here before you know it. Welcome home dear sister, I love you :)

Head cold distress

I am so tired of not being able to breathe. My head hurts, my nose is stopped up and I have a bad cough. Even though I've been on antibiotics and steroids I still feel very little relief. All I can say is that I am sick of being sick!!

Catching up

I'm sitting here surrounded by cats. They always put a smile on my face. My husband came back from California on Wednesday so things are getting back to normal around here. I have a sinus infection that I'm fighting off right now. My doctor called in some prescriptions for me so I'm getting better slowly but surely. My sister has been away on a cruise that seems like forever. She should be back on Monday. I miss her quite a bit and will be happy when she gets back. I'm used to getting a text from her every morning and that gets my day started. Robby and Archer are off playing soccer tonight. Melissa is sick so she couldn't make it. She's laying on the couch watching TV. I've been in bed most of the day. I did get up long enough to go eat lunch with Robby lol. Now I think I will go take a hot shower and see if that makes me feel any better. That's about all that is happening around here, pretty boring stuff but that's life :)
